Plot Summary:A story set against the Mountain Meadows Massacre, the film is based upon the tragedy which occurred in Utah in 1857. A group of settlers, traveling on wagons, was murdered by the native Mormons. All together, about 140 souls of men, women and children, were taken. Amidst this, two young lovers-to-be, one a Mormon and the other one of the doomed settlers from Arkansas, develop a relationship in an atmosphere of suspicion and rancor.

某人看得直拍大腿：道具啊！道具啊！1857年的人拿着1865年的枪啊！情节和wiki上的历史还是很接近的。
不过是个路过的车队，何必赶尽杀绝，唉。宗教报仇，啧啧。本片最大的败笔在于男女主角的演技。
我以为最后主人公会把他爸一枪爆头…有点憋屈啊，虽然这种真实事件改编的电影往往比较憋屈
