Plot Summary:A young woman, Rikke, is in a locked ward in a mental hospital. She shows her personal and intimate belongings. A lipstick, an eye shadow, a deodorant, a bra. This is her way of orienting herself and finding herself. She has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. What is it like to be a schizophrenic? How does she experience the world? Four psychotic persons tell their stories. They are very different from each other, but have a deep pain in common.
